Los Alamos Dressage Center has long been the name to remember when the serious competitor wants to place a horse in training, especially at the FEI levels of dressage. Although we enjoy training green horses for clients, our ability to "finish" dressage horses in a relatively short period of time is a talent few can offer. Our long list of success stories established by the late Maj. Hector Carmona includes such students as Olympic Gold Medalists Michael Plumb and Torrence Fleishman, as well as other international riders like USET Captain John Winnett and several others on the US Dressage and 3-Day Event Teams.

More recently, Dr. Gail Hoff-Carmona, sole owner and director of Los Alamos Dressage Center since 1987, has added to this list by training people and horses to earn USDF Bronze, Silver and Gold Medals as well as placing in the USEF, USDF and BLM year-end finals through the FEI Levels.

In addition to training in dressage, we also offer specialized training for show jumpers, 3-day event riders and those wishing to show horses in-hand.
